Land Acquisition Fund

Looking to bring land into woodland creation for the long term? We have match-funding available for organisations acquiring land within the Western Forest area for nature, for communities, and for value that lasts.

You as the proposed acquisition partner will become the landowner and land manager, and must be a public, charitable or not-for-profit body.

• You must be able to provide match funding
• The land must:
  Be greater than 20 hectares
• Have public access
• Be in the Western Forest area
• Not be high-quality agricultural land (not Grade 1 or 2 land)
• Not currently woodland, but with the right conditions to become it
