Pucklechurch Wood Tree Planting
Join a team of volunteers from South Gloucestershire Council to add more trees to Pucklechurch Wood.
Join South Gloucestershire Council for a fun, hands-on day of tree planting and learn how to protect young saplings.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 24 November 2026
Location: Pucklechurch Wood, Westerleigh Road, access south of M4 bridge.
No skills or expertise required, all training, tools and gloves are provided. Please bring sturdy footwear and waterproofs. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
Pucklechurch Wood is the largest new woodland to be created on South Gloucestershire Council land. Over two years we will plant 30 hectares of trees to increase tree canopy cover, restore nature and build community resilience – helping to reach our commitment to double tree canopy cover by 2050.
