UWE Bristol: Glenside Community Walkshop

Join the Western Forest team on Glenside campus to share your experiences of the trees and landscapes around you, and help us envision the future of our forests.

Take an hour to slow down, connect with nature, and spark your creativity. This interactive walkshop blends walking, conversation and creativity to explore our relationship with trees, forests and woodlands.

Together we’ll discover our personal connections with trees and woodlands, sharing memories and stories as we go, which will then translate into a group artwork. No creative experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

The walkshop will be led by Western Forest, England’s first new forest in a generation, you’ll also have the chance to learn about exciting opportunities to get involved, have your say over where trees and forests will be planted in our region and help shape a major new forest initiative right on your doorstep.

Meet us outside the Glenside campus library. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. No booking required.
