This Open Day offers the perfect way to experience this wonderful ancient woodland at your own pace. Wander through the winding trails at your leisure. Take in the sights and sounds of one of our most precious habitats.

The event will begin with the Conservation Lead for the North providing a brief introduction to the wood history and sharing insider tips on the specific flora and fauna to keep an eye out for during your walk. From rare insects to seasonal wildflowers, learn what makes this site a vital sanctuary for local biodiversity.
